Ecarai (Davidé) – Dupade answers our prayers

Dupade doi yoquicatecãraitigade Ecarai

Hannah asked Dupade to give her a child:

It is true that Dupade answers our prayers and gives us the things we ask of him. Therefore, we need to keep on asking Dupade for things that we need.

This is what Hannah did who lived long ago. She desired to have children, but in vain, because she was sterile. But Hannah kept on asking Dupade to give her a child. It’s said Dupade heard her petitions each time she asked Him, but he didn’t give her a child right away. But finally, Dupade did give her a child. And she named him Samuel.

This is what happened: Hannah went with her husband to Dupade’s House to worship Dupade. And they took gifts for Dupade’s servant who taught people about Dupade and watched over Dupade’s House. But Hannah stayed in Dupade’s House and she was praying when God’s servant saw her. God’s servant believed in Dupade, and he spoke to Hannah and asked her: “Hannah, are you praying to DupadeDupade will hear your prayers today, and he will give you what you are asking for.”

We have heard before how that Dupade gave Hannah a child. And it’s the same way with us. We ask Dupade for things also and Dupade gives us what we ask for.

They asked Dupade to take Peter out of the house where they had locked him up:

It was the same way many years later. There was an after-child named Peter who they had locked up, and Dupade’s believers got together to pray for him.  They asked Dupade to do something for Peter in the house where he was locked up.

And they say that when they least expected it, there was Peter knocking at the door of the house they were in. Dupade had heard their prayers and he gave them what they desired. It’s the same way with us when we have faith in Dupade and ask him for things. We’re told that when they least expected it, there was Peter knocking at the door. Dupade had sent an angel to set him free from the chains on his arms and legs, and miraculously the prison doors had opened so he could leave.

Sometimes Dupade does not give us what we ask for: (James 4:3)

You know that a person’s child might ask him for something. And if his father approves his words then he gives the child what he wants. On the other hand, sometimes a child asks in vain because his father doesn’t approve of his request and he doesn’t give it to him. And that’s how Dupade is. We ask for things, but if what we ask for is not Dupade’s will, he doesn’t give us the things we want.

Abraham’s prayers for his family members:

They say it was like that with a man named Abraham who lived long ago. We are told that he prayed to Dupade for his relatives who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah. This is what Abraham prayed: “If it’s your will to save my relatives that live in the big cities named Sodom and Gomorrah, then don’t destroy them.” And Dupade did as he was asked and did not destroy Abraham’s relatives. Lot and his daughters survived, but Dupade destroyed the other people who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah because of their very ugly ways.

Esther interceded with God for her countrymen:

They say it was the same with a woman whose name was Esther. She prayed to Dupade for her countrymen that He would save them from their enemies. And it’s said that Dupade did what she requested, and in answer to her prayers he prevented the destruction of her countrymen, the Jews. Their enemies did not finish them off at all. It can be the same for us living today, many years later, if we believe in Dupade.

Dupade can answer our prayers when we surrender to him: (Psalm 37:4)

Dupade gives us our requests today. He gives us the things we ask for, because we are Dupade’s children and he has compassion on us. He made us, and he cares what happens to us. When he is pleased with what we do, he gives to us what we ask for.

If you believe in him and your heart is not on other things, then, when you ask Dupade for things, he will give you what you desire.

Jesus’ mother asked her son for wine for a wedding:

Especially did Jesus’ listen to his mother. She came to her dear son about providing wine for a wedding. She said to him: “Have you noticed that they are running out of wine?” It’s said that Jesus did what his mother desired and made the likeness of wine. What he made was very good. There were only large jars of water, but he made the water become delicious fruit juice, better than the first fruit juice they served. In all the earth it was only dear Jesus who could fulfill the words of his mother.

But it’s the same way even now when we ask Jesus and his Father for things. They give us the things we desire.

If you ask Dupade for something, don’t doubt that you will receive what you ask of your father Dupade. (James 1:7)
